Project Outline

mtset productions is producing a new sci-fi web series entitled Process: A Series of Events, starring Sarah Barrable-Tishauer (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Tim Burd (Saw II) and Vanessa Matsui (The Bitter End web series).  The series will be one part of a large, content-rich multi-platform enterprise, consisting of a number of different websites and content streams (video, audio, blog, alternate reality game).

A Unique Opportunity

In the tradition of science-fiction, this project effects commentary on social issues, deals with issues of narrative and hegemony, and questions the ubiquity and rapidity of digital infrastructure. The existing production team consists of ten media professionals from the Montreal area with diverse backgrounds in film and new media.

We are also accepting applications for a 120-hour unpaid internship, as well. We need help in all areas, from social media to design to photography to producing small video segments. Instruction will be provided and you'll get a lot of experience working in a dynamic production environment.

Strengths and/or experience in the following areas are not necessary, but are an asset:

    * event or production management
    * social media
    * logo & website design
    * promotion
    * props construction
    * web development & programming
    * math and/or encryption
    * game theorization & planning
    * mobile application development

Through participation in this program, you will learn various video and new-media production techniques and you'll be a part of a very unique and very ambitious project.
